I can work with you to create a bespoke piece of glass that will be a future heirloom.  The process starts with you - I can help with color and design selections - some have said that color conception is my super power and I don't dispute this!  

So that's the mission but who is Bitterpill really? I'm just a girl with a mission to be creative every day.  My heart vacillates between my great loves of fabric and glass.  I've been sewing since I was 10, studied fashion and textile design for a few years, and am a self-taught glass worker with a degree in cultural anthropolgy and a certified spin instructor...go figure.  It's nice to meet you.

So how long does it take?  Because almost everything is custom made at the design emporium, patience is important. But not to worry, I work quickly and precisely. To give you an idea, small three dimensional objects need about 10 days lead time.  Items that are listed as in stock are ready to ship when they're ordered.

Custom Stained Glass Panels/Windows/Transoms/Larger custom panels can take several weeks to months depending on what you're looking for.  

The ordering process is as follows: Contact us via the website (or whatever social media portal you found us through) and we'll arrange a time to call you to discuss your project. A $50 non-refundable design fee will be expected before design work begins.  A mock-up design will be sent to the buyer and the buyer will have 7 business days to approve or ask for changes.  I can provide pictures of various glass that I select for your project for your approval or you can let me make all the choices- that’s up to you. Once the design and color selection is approved - no changes can be made.

Once the design has been finalized full payment will be expected prior to work commencing.  The buyer will be kept updated as to the progress of the project and its expected completion date.  Open, honest dialogue is the key to success here so I promise to always give you the best advice I can. 

Things to consider and include when inquiring about custom work:

-When do you need it? ASAP/for a particular date/Whenever it’s ready

-Size: Provide approximate dimensions whenever possible.

-Images: Provide reference images whenever possible to help illustrate your request. This can also include specific colors to use or definitely avoid.

-How best to communicate with you: Let me know the easiest way to communicate with you-phone/e-mail/messenger or DM. Please choose the method that you most routinely check so messages don’t sit in limbo too long- the faster you respond, the faster I can get crackin’!

Shipping Info  Shipping costs are estimated and any overages over $1 will be refunded to the buyer.

Returns  Since most everything is custom made, returns are not accepted. Because of this, I work hard to get it right and ensure that the custom item of your dreams ends up to be all you hoped for.  If in the VERY unlikely event that there is any issue I will try to resolve it to everyone's satisfaction.
